The underfoot conditions are a concern for a large majority of the runners in this nursery with most of the field encountering going this testing for the first time and there is no guarantee that the likes of the Michael Dods-trained Empress Royal, John Quinn's Snow Bear and Ed Vaughan's Cinderkamp, who all have claims on form, will handle the ground. There are no such problems for Phil McEntee's MAYFAIR PRINCESS though as she won her maiden on her debut on soft ground, was highly tried in a listed race on her next start and looks worth chancing off what looks a fair mark back on testing going. Bill Turner's Crazy In Love and Richard Fahey's Peters Spirit are others to consider but it is Mayfair Princess that gets the vote.
