Loose Caboose and Ridley Didley should go well but it looks well worth taking a chance with BRUT. The booking of Amy Ryan takes the eye for David Barker's sprinter whose last two victories have come over this course and distance and he's now a remarkable 11lbs lower than for the latest of them just over a year ago. That does reflect the form that he has been in but he may now be able to take advantage of the handicapper's leniency. Loose Caboose has to be to the fore of any short-list as her Doncaster win goes some way to allaying concerns regarding her effectiveness on turf. She's well drawn given her style of running and should go well. Windjammer won this race last year for a different yard but lacks a run as does the experienced Malapropism and of more appeal is Ridley Didley who has yet to win but continues to perform with credit. Raccoon cannot be omitted from calculations but he was readily held by Liberty Ship over course and distance on his penultimate start and the Bethell runner is yet another to bear in mind but Brut gets the nod.
