Five Wishes is quite an interesting newcomer to hurdles but the ground may be against her and preference is for I'M DELILAH ahead of Karmest and Pokanoket. The selection still looked as green as grass when finishing second to Fairyland at Doncaster recently. The first two were some way clear and she is open to more improvement; her mark of 100 looks a tad on the lenient side so she might win again when returned to handicaps and she should run a big race on ground that could prove to be ideal. Karmest is strong stayer on the level and she made her hurdling debut over further here last time. She ran with credit behind Sir Tantallus Hawk and rates a big player against her own sex today. Blinkers are tried on Lady Wright, whilst Pokanoket makes her hurdling bow in a winnable race. She has shown a bit of ability in four bumpers but the feeling is that she may need a bit more time. Twilight Dawn is another open to improvement, however it is I'm Delilah who can top the bill.
