John Gosden has a strong hand here saddling both Bruton Street and Time Book and both deserve to get their head in front but may have to settle for minor honours again with more solid claims held by COTILLION, who looks the one to be on. The selection has shown a decent level of form on a soft surface for William Haggas finding just one too good on each of the two occasions that he has raced on testing conditions and he can go one better today. Alan McCabe's Sligo has yet to confirm that he handles conditions as soft as this and of more interest may be Pat Eddery's Outrageous Request, who has run creditably on a soft surface in his last two starts. Keith Reveley's Tazbar is decent over hurdles having earned a rating in the 150s but he has failed to show any worthwhile form in two starts on the level. Bruton Street looks marginally the pick of John Gosden's two runners but, on this surface, Cotillion looks the one they all have to beat.
