KYZER CHIEF is the very tentative selection against Fashion Icon and Lord Of The Reins. Ronnie Barr's gelding has dropped to an attractive mark and with a favoured low draw, he has conditions to suit although his form this term has been patchy at best. He does need to reverse form with Fashion Icon. David O'Meara's inmate finished ahead of him at Doncaster and the yard could not be in better form.Lord Of The Reins has dropped by some 21lb since April. Regrettably he has been incapable of making the assessor pay for his leniency. Raccoon likes rattling fast ground and while the draw could have been better; this old stager is effectively taking a drop in grade having been let in today off a mark of 60 for this assignement. Windjammer and Spirit Of Coniston have won races of this nature in this past though neither scope as particularly reliable. Pressed For Time attempted to pilfer a prize at Lingfield under an aggressive ride prior to being swamped close home. Ballarina has given the handicapper precious little to look at but there must be some reason why Eric Alston has bothered to keep her in training so the evidence of the market is noted. Baby Queen ran poorly at Bath and is capable of better, Cogent cases for many though Kyzer Chief is offered in acceptance of a couple of reservations.
