MINTURNO makes most appeal in this sprint with Mandalay King and Night Trade worthy of inclusion upon the shortlist. The selection has been knocking on the door of late and the form of a third at Pontefract entitles him to be very much a player if running up to that level of form. Connections will be hoping that any forecast rain stays away. Mandalay King has taken on better opposition around the likes of York this term. That said, he has run well at this course in the past and should be thundering home at the finish. Night Trade was a beaten favourite at Doncaster though has a good course record at Catterick having won once and hit the frame on his only other visit. Klynch is gradually dropping down the weights though the draw has not been kind this afternoon. Wyatt Earp won off a mark of 70 at Carlisle though has struggled in his unequal struggle against the handicapper ever since. Dancing Red Devil is still fairly inexperienced at this level and is one to note if the market speaks favourably. Minturno appears to hold the most solid formbook evidence in a tough race for punters to call.
