Verdict

Rated 80, SCHOOL FETE managed to find one too good when odds-on at Lingfield last time. But this looks easier and he gets another chance in first-time headgear with Louis Steward taking 3lb off his back. Ice Galley has failed to threaten despite finishing third on his last couple of outings while winning hurdler and chaser Ifandbutwhynot makes his belated debut on the Flat. Snow Prince has been hurdling since a couple of modest efforts on the level last year while Pearl Phoenix is a half-brother to Dunaden, a multiple Group 1 winner including the Melbourne Cup, but only now making his racecourse debut at the age of six.
