      Verdict

      OWASEYF made a winning start over today’s trip at Redcar when scoring with plenty in hand. Roger Varian’s filly should go close in this with normal progress. Azagal disappointed when favourite at Leicester last week but ran better when fourth at York before that while Hawatif was well beaten at the latter track recently and drops back down in class today. Blue Jacket won a Class 6 handicap at Musselburgh last month but will find this much tougher raised 5lb and course and distance winner Totally Magic makes more appeal.
