Precious Mystery can add to his recent victory at the expense of Scott and Inchnadamph. Alan King is obviously looking forward to another good campaign with his jumpers but is a shrewd trainer with his few Flat inmates, and has already placed Precious Mystery to good effect. The four-year-old was given a good ride by Amir Quinn at Brighton to master Scott by a head, and although the latter is weighted to turn the tables this time, Precious Mystery will once again have the soft ground in her favour, and will have no problems with the step up in trip. She will no doubt be going hurdling again soon but before then can prove profitable to follow here. Apart from Scott, Inchnadamph is the only other to make serious appeal. A dual winner at Hamilton earlier in the season, Tim Fitzgerald's charge was made favourite for a better race than this at York last time but never got going. If that run is overlooked then he has major place claims at least. Montecristo will do well to concede weight in this ground while Archie babe has gone off the boil, so we prefer to side with Precious Mystery.
