Icarus Dream, Blaise Wood and Sir Frank Gibson are three against the field a competitive opener and the tentative vote goes to Icarus Dream. The selection was a fair fifth behind Tizi Ouzou last time out. This looks easier and with this sharper track sure to suit he is taken to regain the winning thread. Blaise Wood rates the main danger on his best form but he was very disappointing in a claimer last time when well fancied so he can not be backed with any confidence here. Sir Frank Gibson is another worthy of respect he was a fair second behind Moon Catcher last time out and that form has since been franked so he has definite place claims but he has had plenty of chances without taking one and for that reason he is passed over. Canni Thinkaar is another that could go well he was only 16 lengths behind Cerium in a much better race last time but he looked a dubious stayer. Of the remainder City Affair is from a yard in form and is worth noting in the market but his over all form leaves him with a little to find and in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Icarus Dream.
