Verdict

PLUCKY DIP (NAP) gave Cieren Fallon a first career victory racing from out of the handicap at Leicester last week. A previous course and distance winner, John Ryan’s charge is unpenalised so effectively races off a 4lb lower mark today and Laura Pearson takes off 7lb so the seven-year-old will have no excuses if he doesn’t follow up. The three-year-old Cruel Clever Cat recorded a first career victory at Brighton two weeks ago but has been raised 5lb. I Am Dandy is tried in cheekpieces after only going down by a nose at Musselburgh while Colour Contrast is usually thereabouts without being quite good enough. False Id could also figure back over 7f.
