      Verdict

      SHARJA SILK was slowly away but still placed in a Class 2 handicap over this trip at Yarmouth last time when the first three pulled well clear. Rated 84, it will be surprise if Roger Varian’s colt doesn’t get off the mark here. Jj's Journey improved over 1m4f on his second start at Hamilton and could be even better over the extra quarter-mile. Smart Champion hasn’t raced since last on debut at Chelmsford at the back-end of last year but is worth a market check and four-times hurdles winner Beeno will ensure there is no hanging about.
