Heritier has landed his last two, both over fences, and now has attentions turned to hurdles over which he's 5lb lower on official ratings. Not seen over timber since early March, he'll go well if translating his chase form. Cartonne has yet to win in seven starts under Rules but has always been on the premises. He appeared to need the run last time after a near-200 day break and wind surgery and it would not surprise to see him go close off a tempting mark. The in-form Daly team send Miltiades from Shropshire for a first start in 325 days but the market may be a useful guide to his chance. The choice is BASHFUL as he's gone well the last twice, remains on a fair mark and is still open to further progress over hurdles.
