In depth

Verdict

Alderbrook Lad is in great nick but this is surely too far for Micky Hammond's charge. There are also stamina doubts surrounding Valleyofmilan but Bangor winner Dreamsoftheatre has won over further over hurdles and Shark Hanlon's Abolitionist won over the trip at Kilbeggan in May. Baileys Concerto in only a pound higher than when second in the Skybet Chase in January and is fit from the Flat but we'll take a chance on the potentially well-treated DANIMIX. Peter Bowen's charge goes well fresh and has a good strike rate over fences.
