Cracking Find won off a similar mark at Newcastle last month but then disappointed at Haydock. A drop back in distance should help Royal Village and Demi Sang’s last win came over course and distance off a 16lb higher mark, though that was in 2019. Mount Mews has become disappointing but there are fewer negatives surrounding TEMPLEPARK (NAP). The latter needs good ground or better so conditions should be ideal for Fergal O’Brien’s consistent gelding who gets the nod ahead of the returning Flowery and Fire Away, who probably needs it softer.
