Verdict

BELL WEIR doesn't do things quickly but his predilection to finish strongly might just be ideally suited to this ultra-long run-in. He made up a tremendous amount of ground from the last on his penultimate start before running into a well-handicapped hotpot last time. He gets on well with his 10lb conditional and this might just be their day. Prince Khurram ran his best race for some while at Sedgefield the last day under Lorcan Murtagh and the combination should be in the mix here too, with the solid Hey Bob another of interest off a workable mark. Keep a very close eye on My Renaissance though as he's been in useful form on the all-weather, is on a lowly handicap mark and represents a fledgling yard that has already proved it knows the time of day.
