A fascinating contest in which Gaelic Spirit sets the standard after sticking on well when racing prominently on her Salisbury debut. She's sure to come on for the run and go well but there are plenty of interesting newcomers in action, of which TULIP FEVER is just preferred. She represents a yard in rampant form and looks the stable first choice with Pat Cosgrave partnering the daughter of Dutch Art. There's certainly plenty of speed in her pedigree. Stable companion One For June should not be ruled out either but larger dangers may loom in the shape of Gosden newcomer Alba Del Sole, Glaceon for the Hannon team, Richard Fahey's Mnemonic Alexander and Marilyn M, for whom De Sousa is a good booking for George Scott. Donny Belle ran well enough on debut to harbour place claims.
