Just For Fun comes here in form and can take this largely uncompetitive novices' handicap from Littleton Valar and Magical Liaison. Ferdy Murphy's gelding carries a 7lb penalty for a four length defeat of Tam O'Shanter at Sedgefield last week, when he was suited well by the trip and ground. This is half a mile or so shorter, but he likes to race handily and could steal a march on his rivals again. Littleton Valar has been running over both hurdles and on the level of late and as one who does not seem to be able to see out his races over shorter, he is taken to improve a little for this step up in trip. He hasn't shown bad form on fast ground previously, so could make the frame. Of the others Magical Liaison makes some appeal. Having shown his best piece of form on fast ground, he will love conditions here, and after going ok when stepped up in trip on decent ground at Ludlow last time, we can expect him to be involved and he can give the selection most to do. For the winner though, we return to Just For Fun.
