This is not a strong race by any stretch of the imagination so Litron would not have to be exceptional to score on his chasing debut, with Time To Reflect, Home By Socks and Posh Stick rated the best of the others. Litron is fairly lightly raced but has scored at maiden hurdle level, that success coming here in May. If he transfers the best of his hurdling form to jumps then he must surely go close in this race. Time To Reflect won a maiden hurdle at Chepstow last November and, despite indifferent form since then, is sure to have been well schooled for his chasing debut. Home By Socks holds claims based on his third here on his chasing debut last time, while Posh Sticks has a couple of reasonable placed efforts over hurdles to her name and was also third over fences on her chasing debut at Hexham. Much as she unseated rider last time, a return to the level of her first run should see her competitive for a place. Overall, though, the vote goes to Litron.
