Verdict

Tropenfeuer had a first run for 11 months - and a first for Dianne Sayer - when romping home at Sedgefield and will be tough to overcome if in the same mood here. He's up 13lb as a result but could be well ahead of the handicapper and a good run is anticipated. However, a chance is taken with ROLLING DOUGH who blew out last time but had previously been going very much the right way. With only six runs over hurdles she should have plenty more to offer. Badea remains a maiden over timber but is on the upgrade at a modest level and should be in the shake-up off an unchanged mark, whilst Ardesia sprang a 25/1 shock the last day, defying a mighty absence in a Hexham seller, but this looks harder off her harsh revised mark. Stanley Bridge has become rather in and out in the last couple of seasons but his best would make him a player.
