Most have a chance in an open contest, although Jim Tango and Merry Minster may need the run. Soul Magic is a standing dish here, the 12-year-old only ever having won at this venue where he's obliged no less than seven times. That alone makes him a leading contender despite disappointing on his only start this year at Kelso. The veteran fought out a close finish here last autumn with Sendiym and there should be little between them again on only slightly amended terms. TEENAGE DREAM has yet to visit the winner's enclosure but ran really well on his first start since joining Brian Ellison when second to Robin's Command just three days ago. His new handler is obviously keen to go the well again quickly and the hint is taken.
