Verdict

FIDUX could end a long losing run with the emphasis today on stamina. He’s been outpaced over 3m the last twice in veterans’ chases. The Wolf’s jumping has improved lately and he bolted up at Perth last month. He’s another proven stayer and won’t be far away if the fences don’t get in the way. Breaking The Ice is the only previous course winner in the line-up so may be best of the rest, despite returning from a break, as the others all have questions to answer at present.
