Though well beaten, Ali Star Bert has placed in both starts since recording a double at Uttoxeter and Chepstow in February. Quiet Flow is having a 10th start over fences but he was staying on over 2m4f at Southwell 12 days ago and should be suited by a step back up in trip with a visor added. BALLYNAGRAN has won over 3m at Wetherby and Hexham so stamina here is unlikely to be an issue, though Lights Are Green will be a big danger if building on a first success at Hexham.
