Pistol Basc could give a timely boost to EVERYLASTING in the previous race as Rose Dobbin's eight-year-old beat that one and Drumlister at Wetherby last month when the trio were clear of the remainder. A 7lb higher mark won't make things easy but he still gets 7lb from penalised Southwell winner Call Me Mulligan. Last month's Sedgefield winner Over And Above looks high enough in the weights now but Oh Right will go close if anywhere near his best, though was back-pedaling when falling here last month after a lengthy absence.
