In depth

Verdict

Redclue alternates between hurdles and fences and is effective over both, though hasn't sparkled in previous raids to these shores. Storm Alert can't get much lower in the weights but is still struggling for form and more evidence is needed before determining whether shock Fakenham winner Izbushka is a reformed character. Craigdancer was also a surprise winner last time, at Wetherby, and the headgear would need to work a second time for him to follow up. Hexham specialist Native Optimist is woefully one-paced but will be staying on better than most. AGENT LOUISE enjoys a big turnaround at the weights with Craigdancer and has tumbled down the handicap in general. He may be ready to win again after a much-improved third at Uttoxeter.
