In depth

Verdict

Grand Vintage and Stags Leap are both attempting to follow up course and distance victories last month. Tickenwolf is improving and got off the mark at Hexham last time while the four-year-old From Frost enjoyed the step up in trip at Gowran last Saturday, though now has a penalty to carry. Pinerolo is better known as a chaser, however, while the handicapper may still have a grip on Maller Tree. Weybridge Light is back on a winning mark but it's a long time since he actually got his head in front. MAYBE I WONT is another on a long losing run but is 6lb lower than when only beaten a length-and-a-half over track and trip last summer and he showed enough here last month to suggest he'll give supporters a run for their money.
