Tayarat is enjoying a lovely spell of form for Michael Chapman and Joe Cornwall and although this is a better race than those he's been contesting, he wouldn't be ruled out off the bottom rung. Railway Dillon finally recaptured some form when last seen with a third place finish in a decent Bangor handicap chase, having pulled up on his three previous starts. He's obviously a risky proposition but is down to a really tempting mark, enhanced by the good value 7lb claim of Nick Slatter. Mr Syntax and Frontier Spirit are also noted but EDMUND is developing into a thoroughly likeable and consistent chaser for Ann Hamilton. He should handle his first attempt at this trip round here and his chance would also be assisted by further softening of the ground.
