A low grade affair in which Blackergreen is the pick with Sharkeys Dream and Finnegans Rainbow as the alternatives. Blackergreen does have to bounce back to form following a disappointing run at Hexham but he has ran well here previously and if the Lake District air reawakens his enthusiasm for the task, he is likely to be a nice price. Sharkeys Dream is another for whom attitude is an imponderable. He stays this trip well enough although he didn't show a great deal on his previous visit to the track. Finnegans Rainbow won a Fakenham seller in style last February. A pipe opener on the flat should have him spot on. Rightful Ruler is probably a better bet on a softer surface. Dunbrody Millar is better known as a handicap chaser. This is an obvious chance if he can translate any of that ability over the smaller obstacles. Roman Army is moderate but with his first time headgear on - the market is noted. Hail The King was badly outpaced over shorter and needs this distance these days. Aston has ran well at this track in the past and cannot be readily discounted. Blackergreen is backed to score in our finale.
