Your A Gassman can take this weak novices' contest from Rendari and Zadok The Priest. The selection won by nine lengths on officially good going at Perth last time out, but trainer Ferdy Murphy said that he needed better ground than that. As this is good to firm we can assume that he will be better still here, and with nothing else among the half dozen runners having anything like his form to draw up on, he is a confident choice. Rendari may be the one to chase him home. Alightly-raced nine-year-old, the Shardari gelding also appreciates decent conditions, and put up a decent effort when beaten a length by Burning Shore at Aintree last time. He will relish the trip and looks the one for the forecast. Meanwhile, Zadok The Priest comes from a yard whose runners are still going ok, but he has plenty to do after being thrashed at Newton Abbot last time and it looks like being a long trip home for connections again. For the winner then, we suggest Your A Gassman.
