Not the most competitive handicap hurdle we'll see at the meeting and one that can be taken by Bob's Gone, with Haystacks, Howaboys Quest and Comfortable Call all likely to figure. The selection carries topweight here but still looks capable off his current mark after being short-headed by Sully Shuffles last time. He goes well on a sound surface, has Tony Dobbin in the plate, who is a master at this track, and he can score. Locally trained Haystacks is another who goes well on fast ground and gets this trip well. He gets a handy 5lb from the selection here, is a course and distance winner and has been sharpened up by a couple of outings on the level and should be thereabouts. Howaboys Quest also likes it quick underfoot and gets in with a featherweight here, so has to be respected, while Comfortable Call has risen in the weights after some good efforts in sellers, but may just find that the handicapper has his measure here. The selection here then, is Bob's Gone.
