Verdict

Stellenbosch can complete a double on the card for Charlie Mann although he will have to get the better of No Panic to do so. The selection has proved rather a frustrating sort over hurdles, finding one or two to good on no fewer than five occasion on his first seven starts over obstacles. There were some fair sorts amongst his conquerors though and a rout of modest opposition on his latest start may have done wonders for his confidence. No Panic would appear to be his principal danger as the bumper winner made a seamless transition to hurdling when running out a ready victor at Newton Abbot. He should improve on that and win more races. Rimsky Korsakov is playing for place money again but Battle Stations enters calculations on the form of his third to Blackpool Billy at Hexham. He has plenty to do on the book though and Stellenbosch rates the one to beat.
