Lucinda Lamb is the call in today's finale with Thats Confidential and Black Mogul the obvious alternatives. Lucinda Lamb has been bred with the National Hunt paddocks in mind and is a half-sister to a number of useful timber performers including Lord Lamb and Burns. Her debut effort over hurdles was nothing special but she had demonstrated a degree of ability in a series of fair bumpers at Wetherby and connections will be keen to pick up a race before the paddocks beckon. Thats Confidential ran bravely to chase home Good Citizen earlier in the week. However, the latter was disappointing when attempting a quick follow up on Thursday. Black Mogul plugged on to be third at Market Rasen in June and needs to find a bit more on that form. He stays well enough and the market is watched. Daniel's Dream is a long standing maiden and will serve as the handicapper's benchmark. Look Supreme ran a career best last time out although that isn't saying a lot. Thunderwing has proved disappointing over hurdles so far though fitness is assured following two recent outings on the flat. Nodform William appears not to have progressed from his days in bumpers. Lucinda Lamb has plenty of positives at this lowly level and secures the nomination.
