Verdict

River Ness showed herself to be a most progressive performer with novice wins at Sedgefield and Perth last term and looks capable of completing a hat-trick back in handicap company off a mark of 102. Hugo De Perro ran well on his comeback but is not entirely trustworthy so a bigger danger may come from Silver Howe who is on a fair mark and shaped promisingly at Kelso last time.
