Prince Nicholas was well beaten off a lowly mark on the Flat last month but should still take the beating on his return to hurdling in a particularly weak event. The seven-year-old boasts some fair placed efforts over timber last season and a reproduction may prove good enough. Hanakham is a useful chaser and makes his hurdling debut after falling at Aintree last time while Seasmith will handle the conditions and is open to improvement having had just three previous starts over timber.
