Though a pound better off, Boss Des Mottes may struggle to overturn a narrow defeat by ENDEAVOR (NAP) here at the end of May as Dianne Sayer’s 12-year-old loves it here and is showing few signs of slowing down. Domtaline hasn’t run over fences since January but did win over hurdles at Carlisle in May so can’t be ignored. Pershing has some scope but returns from a break and Red Riverman has a lengthy absence to overcome. Accessallareas has only won once in two years and is still 7lb higher.
