A tricky opener given Nobly Born has not raced since finishing runner-up in a Listed race at Newbury last summer and Dark Power makes his seasonal bow having won a maiden at Nottingham in October. LAHORE has also had a two-month break since making a winning debut at Doncaster but it’s still the most recent form on offer and the third has subsequently won. Roger Varian’s colt gets the nod with both Quench Dolly and High Acclaim looking high enough in the weights now.
