      Verdict

      Ulshaw Bridge pops up now and then but looks a few pounds too high at present. Gobi Sunset has been knocking on the door on the all-weather this year but has failed to show the same sparkle on Turf. MAKEEN won at Musselburgh last month, with subsequent Ayr winner Merricourt fourth, and wasn’t beaten far off a pound higher mark here subsequently. The drop back to 7f is not a concern and Julie Camacho’s gelding looks the one to beat, though Barney's Bay may be coming to hand and Dulla Bhatti was just beaten off this mark at Wetherby.
