    Verdict

    Queen Of Deauville was quite impressive when making a winning debut over course and distance 11 days ago but she may find CARMELA a tough nut to crack. David Loughnane’s filly beat a subsequent winner at Yarmouth before acquitting herself well in Listed company at York. Kodi Dancer is a likely improver but Clifford Lee rides stablemate and newcomer Cold Case, who changed hands for 160,000gns as a yearling. Mint Edition cost 75,000gns and also has a nice pedigree.
