The veteran Noble Alan beat Eltheeb when winning last year's renewal and is back for another crack off a lower mark. But COMEDY KING makes most appeal in this having finished fifth in a higher grade handicap at York ahead of Top Of The Glas. Luca Cumani's charge needs to reverse running with the fourth Innocent Touch but has less than a length to find and can come out best on this occasion. The latter's stablemate Modernism looks high enough in the weights but Carthage has a shout on his third at Chester last month and Excellent Puck is still improving having made a winning return at Newmarket. Kinema and Warfare can also figure if staying the longer trip.
