Loves Travelling , Sporting Gesture, Greenwich Meantime and Bucks are a handful against the field in another wide open affair and the tentative vote goes to Greenwich Meantime. The selection is on a handy mark and shaped as if about to strike when third behind Sahem, this stiff track should suit and with conditions in his favour he will not be far away. Bucks has won his last two races in good style and a reproduction of his form that saw him beat Danakil last time out would see him go close but he will find this harder under another penalty. Sporting Gesture is another in form but he just gave the impression the handicapper had caught up with him when fourth behind Mephisto last time. However with Paul Mulrennan taking off a handy five pounds he is another with definite place claims. Loves Travelling is another that could go well despite top weight. His stable is in top form and he was a fair second behind Trance last time out and he will not mind any rain. Aleron is another in form he was a fair second behind Polar Gem last time and he should appreciate the step up to this longer trip. Of the remainder Mostarsil and Silvertown are from very shrewd yards and are worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Greenwich Meantime.
