Verdict

The betting suggested JACOB BLACK was expected to make a winning return at Hamilton and he duly obliged with a three-length victory. There should be more to come now handicapping and he gets the nod. Hard Core Debt also won at Hamilton last month but failed to cope with a 6lb penalty last time and Leopardstown winner Naoise makes more appeal on his first start for new connections having left Jim Bolger. True Pleasure drops back into a more suitable grade and may prove best of the rest.
