The progressive Inniscastle Lad went close to landing a four-timer when third at Haydock recently and Masterpaver also arrives in fine form having just missed out on a hat-trick when going close at York. The latter’s stablemate Modernism gets help from the saddle with an apprentice’s 7lb allowance in his favour but was behind Top of The Glas in this last year when Brian Ellison’s charge finished third off a higher mark.
