Verdict
HOW started a short-priced favourite when a close third behind stable companion Brave Anna at the Curragh and the winner's subsequent victory in the Albany Stakes gives the form a boost though the runner-up has been beaten since. Lyin Eyes couldn't get to the long odds-on King Electric at Navan and will need much more here while Dandys Gold looked ready for another furlong at Fairyhouse. Dermot Weld has two entries with Pat Smullen choosing January Morn over Midsomer. His mount is out of a winning USA miler and this should be her trip in her first season. Childhood is owned by Godolphin and cost $180,000. She's a half-sister to four winners and is one to keep an eye on.
