Flying Falcon can overcome his penalty to win again at the expense of Hockenheim and Kirkside Pleasure. The selection was in winning action at Chepstow last time out and for that he carries a penalty. But with an official rating of 129 he is a class above his rivals and should in effect with a clear round of jumping win this with relative ease. Hockenheim won two novice hurdle events last season but has yet to get his head in front in two novice chasers. He has run with credit but has failed to live up his expectations and for that reason is to be treated with caution. Kirkside Pleasure is another that has gone off the rails of late. Although good enough to win a hurdle race last season he has had jumping difficulties and confidence is starting to slip. So for the winner we return to Flying Falcon.
