In depth

Verdict

Far from straightforward as LEAPERS WOOD (NAP) has the best form by far of the five with racecourse experience but is starting to look exposed after four starts. There are representatives from leading northern yards in opposition but the Dods inmate was only beaten a short head last time, handles ground with cut and is worth one more chance. The market should sort out the newcomers but at this stage Alioski, a son of Kodiac, and Gravity Force make most appeal, although it should be noted that the latter has already had wind surgery prior to making this debut. Richard Fahey's Dark Angel filly, Deb's Delight is also of interest and Bal Mal is a possible improver.
