Verdict
Jacob Black is penalised 4lb for winning at Musselburgh but finished behind runner-up Roaring Forties and STAR SHIELD at the same track earlier. The latter is the least exposed of that trio and having run into trouble on that occasion, David O’Meara’s charge is taken to turn the tables with with a clear run and come out best. Colour Contrast has won a couple of lower grade contests at Musselburgh and carries 5lb extra while Kentuckyconnection made a winning start way back in 2015 and scored for the first time since when successful over 6f at Newcastle recently. Cameo Star went close at Beverley last time and can figure while Zylan is proving best on the all-weather though his yard has won the last two renewals.
