Haadef will improve for his run at Bath but will need to in an interesting maiden. King Shamardal looked a likely future winner when runner-up on his debut but the half-brother to nine winners didn't appreciate front-running at Wetherby. Regular was also beaten on the A1 track last time but made a bold bid to lead all in what looked a strong contest. He'll be strongly fancied to go one better but Saeed Bin Suroor won this last year and DUBAI ICE, a half-sister to Grade 1 winner Cappezano, should build on last season's run at Kempton and may prove good enough. Attorney General is an interesting newcomer as he's a full-brother to two decent winners.
