In depth

Verdict

CURRENT OPTION failed to threaten the winner despite finishing third at Epsom on his comeback but the Haggas colt should have the edge in this rated 84 and weighted to beat Brandy Spirit. The latter ran well for third over today’s trip at Wetherby on his return to action while I Could Do Better and Ride The Monkey are both penalised for winning at Redcar last year with the former scoring on soft ground. The four-year-old So Macho has placed over 6f at Newcastle on a couple of occasions and Bold Show can only improve.
