In depth

Verdict

Marada looked a hurdler to follow in his novice days winning three times and was returning from a very long break when well beaten at Huntingdon. Stuart Crawford's raiders are always to be reckoned with and Holmes St Georges was impressive at Musselburgh in November. Marsh Wren is definitely improving and was returning from a long absence when scoring at Exeter on New Year's Day while UP FOR PAROL has generally raced at a higher level than this. The latter is 2lb higher than his last success but will be ridden by a 10lb claimer so gets the nod. Luke Scott was on board when Astromachia landed a maiden at Uttoxeter and his mount makes his handicap debut from what looks a fair mark.
