Court Dreaming has won this in two of the last three years and was second in 2021. He is receiving weight all round but Dallas Des Pictons is 8lb better off for a half-length defeat 12 months ago and this year’s renewal is more competitive than usual. Silver In Disguise is a thorough stayer but has two ways of running. Wasdell Dundalk is on a roll but we’ll take a chance on MORNING SPIRIT, who has dropped back to the mark off which he was successful here last November. He hasn’t run since May but his yard is back firing on all cylinders. The Kniphand also hails from an in-form yard while Guetapan Collonges has a touch of class. Your Own Story and Ned Tanner are others capable of playing a part if fully wound-up while significant rain would see East Street enter calculations.
